Remember when the Liberals promised during the election campaign that they would run $10-billion deficits? Well, they've now gone way beyond that:

Today, the Liberal government tabled a bill to reverse some of our Conservative government’s changes to Canadian citizenship. What is Justin Trudeau proposing? - Reducing the time immigration applicants are required to live in Canada before applying for citizenship, from 4 out of 6 years to 3 out of 5 years. - Reducing our broadened language requirements for new immigrants. Our Conservative government required that all those between the ages of 14 and 64 meet language requirements in English or French and pass a knowledge test. The Liberals have reversed this change, to 18-54 years of age. This change will require the government to spend more on language training programs. - Reversing our Conservative government’s provision that revoked citizenship from dual-citizens convicted of terrorism, treason or espionage. For example, this will allow convicted terrorist Zakaria Amara, of the Toronto-18, to remain in Canada as a Canadian citizen. What are your thoughts?

Yesterday, I spoke in the House of Commons on the Liberal Government's decision to pull our CF-18s out of the fight against ISIS. ISIS has clearly called for attacks against Canada and Canadians. If this Government doesn't believe that threats like these require a strong military response, when would they fight?

Hopefully Justin Trudeau's first 100 days are an aberration, and not an average. Listen to this week's radio commentary:

To the Liberals, carbon taxes are almost irresistible. The public doesn’t know what they are, industry can pass them on to consumers, and politicians get access to a whole new taxation revenue scheme. And all that without necessarily changing a single thing in the environment. Listen to this week's radio commentary here:

I’m proud that our Conservative Government made these improvements to cash advances access in 2015. It is very important to the farmers of Cypress Hills-Grasslands and their families.

Today, I asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs to stand up for the release of Kevin & Julia Garratt, who have been confined and harassed by Chinese security officials for over a year.

It is astounding how quickly Liberal corruption is coming home to roost. We know that the Liberals plan to dismantle C-525 and C-377. Our Conservative Government passed C-525 to bring transparency to unions and give union members the right to a mandatory secret ballot vote on whether they want to be in a union or not. C-377 would have further empowered members by ensuring that unions publicly disclose salaries greater than $100,000, as well as any expenditure greater than $5,000. Now, as one of their first actions in government, the Liberals have promised to strip that all away. Now we have uncovered the fact that this is all to repay union leadership for using members as props – with union dues – during the Liberal election campaign. This is unacceptable and an insult to union members. How many other corrupt deals did the Liberals work out with union leadership during the election campaign?
