  Veterans’ Week, Nov. 5 through Nov. 11, is a great opportunity for Canadians to join together and reflect on the sacrifices Canada’s veterans have made to secure the freedom Canada’s citizens enjoy today. We are blessed to live in Canada, a country of freedom, opportunity, prosperity and peace. These blessings we enjoy have been secured by the sacrifice of men and women who have fought and continue to stand on guard to protect these values. This Remembrance Day, let us all demonstrate our thanks and pay tribute to those who have given so much. Lest we forget.

  I stood in the House of Commons to congratulate Grande Prairie for being named the most entrepreneurial city in Canada by a Canadian Federation of Independent Business study.   Last night's meeting was very interesting.... we talked about a federal womens mentorship program, exploitation of women in Canada (importing and exporting), crime, youth offenders, leadership and more... thanks to Chris Warkentin for being our speaker, we learned a lot and had some great discussion. See you all at the next EWI meeting April 27 at Madhatters Back 40!
