Happy Friday from Yarmouth, NS …. CBC will announce the Top 5 Communities in the Kraft Hockeyville competition this Saturday night during CBC’s Hockey Night in Canada. Yarmouth may be named “1 of the 5 “and we will be representing the Atlantic Region. The Community wins CBC Kraft Hockeyville 2012 on March 31st by receiving the most votes. This is no longer a Yarmouth event, but an Atlantic Canada event. We need the support of everyone from everywhere to vote for Yarmouth. You will be able to vote as many times as you wish or can. If we are not successful, please vote for St. Andrews, NB or Pownal, PEI, as one of them will be representing the Atlantic Region. Voting begins Saturday, March 17th at midnight and ends Wednesday, March 21st at 1:00 am (AST). All you have to do is go to www.krafthockeyville.ca and vote for Yarmouth/Mariners Centre. When prompted to vote again, then vote again as many times as you can. Or you can call 1-866-533-8066 and select the 2-digit number for Yarmouth. Please post this on your Personal, Business and/or Group Facebook page(s) and share with all of your contacts. Go to Yarmouth is Hockeyville Facebook page and “Like” …. We will be updating this steady during the voting period with information, pictures and video. AND Send out to your email contacts, your Linkedin contacts, your staff, your friends, groups and organizations that you are associated with such as teams, clubs, etc. We need to engage as many people as possible to give them the opportunity to “Vote” for this community. The 1st prize money is good and needed, but can you imagine an NHL Exhibition Game in Yarmouth … it would be an awesome experience that will last our youth a lifetime. Thank you for your support, and please help us to get the “word” out. Patti, Gil and Wayne
