  We went mainstreeting today in Yaletown. Great response including posing with We (heart) Yaletown girls and (maybe) convincing one of them to vote who at first said she wasn't going to vote this time. Global TV (Channel 11) piece 6pm tonight!

  It was a sombre but determined crowd at the Jack Poole Plaza that came out to mark the Day of Mourning April 28. In BC, 143 people lost their lives in 2010 due to workplace accidents or illnesses. Better enforcement of safety standards is key.

  Interesting meeting with Elections Canada today. I was surprised to learn that students can choose either their home riding or their school riding to cast their vote. If they're not registered, they can bring someone who is registered to vouch for them. And they're looking for people to work Election Day!
