- ndpToday (April 29), students at Weston Collegiate Institute voted overwhelmingly for Mike Sullivan, York South-Weston's NDP candidate, over his Liberal, Conservative and Green Party rivals. Sullivan received 45% of the student vote; Allan Tonks (Liberal) 24%, Jillian Saweczko (Conservative) 17%, Sonny Day (Green Party) 14%. - ndpHeartbreaking story: Grandma (in wheelchair, on disability) took in daughter + granddaughter to avoid them going to shelter. But when Children's Aid found out grandma had only 1 bdrm apt they took granddaughter. She applied to get a 2 bdrm with TCHC but there's a long wait list.
