  Parliament recessed yesterday. Remember that feeling of last day of school? Thats it! I'm glad to be going home to Vancouver even if the weather has been a little crappy. I feel pretty proud of the NDP caucus in Ottawa. It's a hard working group and we gave it our all on many issues. Big shout out to jean crowder our aboriginal affairs critic who pushed the govt on freezing funds to aboriginal youth programs. She asked a great question in the house yesterday on this - which was also National Aboriginal Day. I'm hopeful the funds will flow due to political and community pressure.
