This story in the North Bay Nugget also on Tom Mulcair's trip hits home for me. In this 41st Parliament coming to an end, I have been the NDP natural resources critic (2011-2012) and mining critic (2011-2015). Mulcair here lays out our sustainable development approach for projects like Energy East. These projects with value added jobs for Canadians work if and when they gain the public's confidence, partner with First Nations communities, make the rules clear from the start for the oil and mining companies and support them for the good-paying local jobs they can provide. http://www.nugget.ca/2015/07/28/pipeline-firms-given-poison-chalice

I see Tom Mulcair led a poll this week on the leader most trusted to manage the economy. That was a big message he delivered in Greater Sudbury, Nickel Belt Monday. This Sudbury Star article explains. #NickelBelt #jobcreation #NDP http://www.thesudburystar.com/2015/07/28/mulcair-promises-tax-cut-for-sudburys-job-creators
